Nolan J. Maloney, M.D.
Nolan J. Maloney, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who joined Dermatology & Laser Associates of Medford in September 2025.
Dr. Maloney grew up in Illinois in the suburbs of Chicago before attending Yale University for his undergraduate studies, where he graduated with honors in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics. He then attended medical school at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his dermatology residency at Stanford University and is fellowship-trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology, having completed his fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.
His clinical interests include Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstruction after skin cancer surgery, early diagnosis and management of skin cancers, Merkel cell carcinoma, and general dermatology. Dr. Maloney has spoken at national conferences, including the American College of Mohs Surgery, and his research has been published in top medical journals, including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Dermatology, and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Maloney enjoys the outdoors and loves tennis and all racket sports, having competed in USTA 4.5–level tennis leagues. He is committed to providing exceptional care and building strong relationships with his patients, and is proud to serve the Southern Oregon community.
