Kate Kimes, D.O.

Kate Kimes, D.O. is a board-certified dermatologist who joined Dermatology & Laser Associates of Medford, LLP in the summer of 2023. 

Dr. Kimes graduated magna cum laude from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA. She then attended Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she graduated as valedictorian and was inducted into the Osteopathic Honor Society, Sigma Sigma Phi. Dr. Kimes completed her internship and dermatology residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. She served as chief resident in her final year of residency and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She was honored to receive the Charles and Montie Lewis Award for excellence in academics, service, and patient care.

Dr. Kimes served in the United States Army as the sole military dermatologist in Interior Alaska for four years. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and empowering them to understand and care for their skin. She strives to provide excellent care for the full spectrum of dermatologic conditions, and has a particular interest in skin cancer prevention, detection, and treatment, as well as surgical dermatology.

Originally from Idaho, Dr. Kimes is thrilled to return to the Pacific Northwest and join Dermatology & Laser Associates of Medford, LLP. Her interests include fitness, baking, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and three children. She feels blessed for the opportunity to live in and serve the community in beautiful Southern Oregon.
