Board certified in 1990, Dr. Tribelhorn moved to Medford in 1993 after practicing dermatology for three years in Germany with the U.S. Army. He was raised in New England, and attended the University of Vermont prior to medical school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. His medical internship and residency training were at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.
He practices dermatologic surgery with special expertise in curing skin cancers. He has had extra training in Mohs surgery (microscopically- controlled surgery) as well as reconstruction surgery, allowing him to treat the most aggressive skin cancers.
Dr. Tribelhorn is an active member of numerous professional societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society of MOHS Surgery, Pacific Dermatology Association and the Oregon Dermatology Society.
Dwight and his wife enjoy many outdoor activities in beautiful southern Oregon, particularly skiing, biking, camping, hiking and running.
